College Student Commits Suicide In Osun

 

A 19-year-old student of Ipetu-Ijesa College of Technology identified as Olonade Tomiwa has committed suicide by hanging himself in Ilesa.

The State of Public Relations Officer SP Yemisi Opolola confirmed the development in statement on Sunday.

She said the deceased was found hanging in the compound with a telephone cable.

Yemisi said that the case was reported at Ilesa ‘A’ Division, by one Agboola Olusola, a youth leader in the town.

She explained that no mark of violence was found on the body of the deceased when the police visited the scene of the incident.

She further said the police took photographs of the scene, adding that the corpse was deposited at Wesley Guild Hospital mortuary in Ilesa.

The police spokesperson said investigation had commenced into the matter.
