Mabel Makun, the spouse of renowned comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has cried out over alleged threat to her life.
On her Instagram page, the interior designer conveyed her inability to endure the threats any longer and announced her decision to notify the police about the issue.
Mabel disclosed that the threats on her life had reached a critical point, and if anything untoward were to happen to her, there would be a specific individual to hold accountable. However, she did not reveal the person’s identity and stated her immediate plan to visit the police station.
According to her, “The threat to my life is actually getting out of hand and if anything happens to me, there is just one person to be held responsible. Headed to the police station”.
“I think I have had enough.
“Been abused mentally and for way too long and I have had enough.”
The increase in threat to life among public figures is becoming alarming. Just recently, Yoruba actress Mariam Akande Muftaudeen sought help over a similar threat to her life, recounting a narrow escape from death with her daughter the previous year.
Sending a message to Nigerians, she stated that she is ready to speak up and grant interviews as she has evidence, videos, and voice notes.
Though not disclosing further, Mariam revealed that unknown individuals had vandalised her car and phones, actively pursuing her and her daughter’s safety.
