A community leader in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Chief Ajadi Aresa has lauded Governor Rauf Aregbesola for his giant strides which he said has transformed the town a befitting state capital in the country.
Chief Aresa stated this on Friday while speaking on behalf of all Baale’s at the grand finale of the 2017 Osun Osogbo Festival.
According to the High Chief, it will be a clear understatement to say that the present administration has done nothing in changing the face of the ancient town.
He held that Governor Aregbesola and his team needs to be commended for their relentless efforts geared towards giving Osogbo, the deserved look as a state capital.
His words “What Aregbesola has done for Osogbo is unique. One good turn deserves another. We are not ingrates, we are appreciative of the fact that he has transformed Osogbo.”
“What I am saying is not politically motivated, I have called a press conference since two years ago that I am no more into politics. We have been lauding the government for this and that is why we have come now in front of government representatives that we are indeed grateful.”
“We pray that your administration moves forward in all ramifications. Thank You.”
Chief Aresa is a former Chairman of Osogbo Local Government.
