Community Seeks Adeleke’s Intervention Over Dilapidated PHC
Residents of Modakeke in Ife East Local Government Area have sought the intervention of the Osun State government over the bad condition of Akarabata Primary Health Centre.
The residents said the facility, which serves majority of the people in the town, was on the verge of total collapse.
One of the residents who spoke in a video posted on Facebook by Inside Modakeke said the facility building now has cracked walls, fallen roofing sheets, broken floors, damaged doors, and windows.
She noted that the facility has been in ruin for over 7 years, calling on the state government to come to the community’s aid.
The resident lamented that the sad situation of the health centre has forced members of the community to travel a long way for medical attention.
