#EndBadGovernance: Confusion As Kano Protesters Fly Russian Flag, Call For Putin Intervention

There was confusion on Saturday as some #EndBadGovernance protesters in Kano State brandished the Russian flag.

The protesters who were mostly youths were seen in a video moving with the flag while complaining about hardship.

The protestors’ demands for Putin’s intervention, noting that President Bola Tinubu has not yielded to their requests.

The situation caused confusion as netizens asked what correlation between the ongoing hunger protest has with the Russian flag.

Recall that Osun Defender reported that the protest in Kano has been characterised by violence with public properties being looted and destroyed.

The state police command has also arrested 392 suspects in connection to the violence.
