Residents of the Akobo area of Ibadan, Oyo State, have been thrown into confusion as the lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified man was found dangling from a tree in the area.
The man, assumed to be in his mid-twenties, allegedly hung himself on the premises of Alapata Onireke High School, Elewuro, Akobo, Ibadan.
But the motive behind the alleged suicide remained unknown.

According to a witness, who pleaded anonymity in an interview with Vanguard, someone in the area had already been declared missing about three days ago.
The witness added that he was at a relaxation spot in the area when someone ran towards him to inform him about the lifeless body hanging from a tree in the school.
As of the time of filing this report, the body of the young boy was still hanging on the tree.
