Musical duo Naira Marley and Zinoleesky have been caught in a fresh web of controversy as a Nigerian dancer, Lil Smart, alleged the duo of threatening his life

In a series of posts on his Instastories, Lil Smart shared disturbing photos and videos, alleging that his life was in danger.

Smart also warned that if anything happens to him, the music stars should be held responsible.

“If anything happens to me (missing or killed), just know it is both Naira Marley and Zino” he wrote.

Zinoleesky however denied the allegations, claiming Lil Smart is “chasing clout” with his name.

He also threatened legal action against Lil Smart, adding that he should be prepared to prove the allegations in court.

“Stop using my name for clout chasing… [I] haven’t seen that n*gga in years… Sha get ready to prove everything in court!” Zinoleesky wrote.

Naira Marley is, however, yet to respond to the allegations.

Osun Defender reports that the fresh web of allegations against NairaMarley and Zinoleesy comes more than a year after the death of popular rapper, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad where the two prime were suspects. The fast-rising singer passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 27.

Mohbad joined Marlian Records, a music label owned by Naira Marley, in January 2020. He was signed alongside Zinoleesky, Cblack, and Fabian.

At first, it started like a stunt for promotion but when video evidence of physical assault surfaced online, the topsy-turvy situation between the singer and Marlian Records became a matter of public interest.

In October 2022, the singer shared footage of himself, pointing to a number of bloody bruises he sustained after he had gone to the management of the label to request a new manager.

But Naira Marley denied the allegation. He claimed the singer was “high” on substance.

Mohbad later terminated his contract with the label, citing alleged “violent physical attacks”, “threat to life” from Marley.
