Council Boss Donates 500KVA Transformer To Community

The Executive Secretary of Ede North Area Council, Hon. Mukaila Uthman has donated a 500KVA transformer to Awere Community, Owode Ede in the State of Osun.
Hon. Mukaila said the move is imperative owing to the fact that residents of the area had witnessed years of darkness in the community.
According to him, the transformer donation is in fulfillment of his electoral promises to improve the standard of living of his people.
His words “Its a dream that comes true for the People of Awere community after witnessing many years of darkness. I have made a promise o the community that I will do everything in my power to improve the standard living in the society and to provide solution to any challenges.”
The council boss however commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola for initiating the Local Government Parliamentary System which helps in bringing government closer to the people.
Hon Mukaila said “We were able to achieve this because we have the required support from the man of the people and the architect of new Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.”
A resident of Ede North area council, Mrs. Fatimah Akingbolu from Awere Community commended the Executive Secretary for his intervention by providing solution to the electricity challenges facing the community.
She said”I pray that God will continue to bless the chairman and guide and guard the governor of the state for giving them Bello as the helmsman of Ede North Area Council.”
Also, Mr. Sunday Odebunmi who is an upholstery in the community for the past three years said he has not for a day enjoyed electricity.
He lamented that a lot of people have left the community because of epileptic, erratic power accompanied by low voltage in the area.
