The Caretaker Management Committee, Ife North West Local Council Development Area, Edunabon, State of Osun, has assured the people of the council of more laudable projects during his tenure in office.
Executive Secretary of the council, Ademola Olabisi made the assurance during his tour of different projects embarked on by his administration, particularly the just-completed Events Centre in Edunabon.
According to him, in spite of the limited resources available to the council, the management committee has been committed to the development of the council area, saying, more of such development would still be witnessed.
He said, no matter how little the resources of the council might be, all hands must be on deck to ensure that it is properly utilised to the satisfaction of the people in line with the promises and commitment of the administrations both at the council and state levels.
The council boss noted that his administration would try as much as possible to ensure that the dividends of democracy percolate among the people of the council area in line with the six-point integral action plan of the Governor Rauf Aregbesola administration.
He then tasked the people of the council area to reciprocate the good gesture of the present administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
He said the gesture should be reciprocated through adequate supports to the government in terms of payment of taxes and other payable levies, which the government would eventually use for development.
Also speaking, the Council Manager, Mrs. Olanrewaju Elizabeth assured that the career officers in the council would also put in their best towards the fulfillment of the administration’s promises to the people in the council area.
