Court Fails to Deliver Judgment in Lamido’s Suit Against PDP Convention
A Federal High Court in Abuja has failed to deliver its judgment, originally scheduled for November 13, in the case filed by former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido.
Lamido is seeking, among other reliefs, to halt the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national convention planned for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Justice Peter Lifu had, on November 11, adjourned the case to November 13 for judgment after hearing final arguments from the lawyers.
However, when parties appeared in court on Thursday, a court official announced that the judgment was not yet ready and said they would be notified once it is available.
