An Osogbo Magistrate Court in Osun has ordered that 3 suspected cultist be remanded in prison over alleged murder.
The trio; Adebayo Saheed, aka Poison, Rasaki Jamiu (Bullet), and Mutiu Rasaq known (Small) was arraigned for conspiracy and murder of three persons in Osogbo.
The prosecutor, Mr Mereti Wilson told the court that trio committed the offense on 15th of August, 2016 at three different locations within Osogbo metropolis.
Mereti said “the three accused persons conspired to commit felony to wit; murder thereby killing three persons on the same day at different places known as Oke-Onitea, Technical Football Pitch, and Ayetoro area in osogbo.
”They did kill one Akinwale Shina, Adekunle Badmus and Aderemi Adepoju by Inflicting Machete and Axe cut on their heads which caused their death.
”They belong to an unlawful society called Aye.
He reiterated that the offense contravenes section 316 punishable under section 319 (1), section 64 (a) (b), section 324 and section 320 of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11 laws of Osun state 2002.
The trio having been represented in court by their counsel have their plea not taken as the magistrate, Mrs Habibat Basiru in her ruling ordered that the three accused be remanded in Ilesa prison and the case was adjourned to 3rd November, 2017 for mention.
