A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has remanded two men Adejoh Musa, 45, and Adamu Sule, 60, for allegedly defiling a six-year-old girl.
The defendants, whose addresses were not given, are charged with defilement.
Mrs. A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu, the Chief Magistrate, who did not hear the defendants’ pleas, ordered their remand at the Lagos Correctional Centre.
The court then deferred the case to December 21, pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office.
Earlier, DSP Gbemileke Agoi, the prosecutor, told the court that the defendants committed the crime on Oct. 20, at about 7:30 a.m.
Agoi stated that the alleged crime was conducted at No. 3, Aunty Kenny St. Anibaba, Ikorodu, Lagos.
He said the offence violated Section 137 of the Lagos State Criminal Code.
