A Magistrate Court sitting in the State of Osun has sentenced a 25-year-old man, Kamoru Azeez, to 12 months imprisonment over theft.
Police Prosecutor, Rasaq Olayiwola, told the court that the convict committed the offence on October 20, 2018 at about 6am at Mosadoluwa area, Oke-Baale in Osogbo, the State capital.
Olayiwola said the convict stole a radiator, a spring and gales battery of a motor worth N77,000 of one Zakariyau Oyetola, adding the act committed is punishable under Criminal Code.
The convict who was not represented by any counsel, pleaded guilty to the offence levelled against him .
In his ruling, Magistrate O.A Oloyade, thereafter sentenced the convict to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour.
