An High Court in Ilesha, State of Osun presided over by Justice Kola Adegoke has struck-out the application filed by one Barrister Kanmi Ajibola seeking the postponement of Saturday’s local government election in the state.
Barr. Kanmi Ajibola had asked the court to halt the conduct of the Osun Council election pending the determination of the suit.
According to a statement signed by the ministry of Justice information officer, Opeyemi Bello, Justice Adegoke however ruled that the suit should be given accelerated hearing due to the sensitivity of the matter.
He also ordered all the parties involved to file all necessary applications before the Court.
Justice Adegoke hereby adjourned the matter to Thursday, 25th of January 2018.
