COVID-19: Full Compliance In Osun On Day 1 Of Total Lockdown

The stay at home order by the State Government of Osun began today with full compliance by residents of the state.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola had through a press release last Sunday ordered the lockdown of the state for two weeks as part of measures to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The state in a recent report by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control put the COVID-19 recorded cases in Osun at 14.
OSUN DEFENDER went round some parts of the state to observe the level of compliance with the stay at home directive by the people.

It was observed that there were substantial compliance in Osogbo, Ede and Ikirun when the medium visited the towns.

There were also reports of men of the Nigerian Army beating some erring members of the public in Ede who flouted government’s restriction order.
