As part of efforts to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus among the residents of Osun State, a Season Journalist and Politician, Hon Olatunji Alfred Adepoju has distributed face masks and food items to his constituents as preventive measures against coronavirus(COVID-19).
According to Adepoju while distributing the items to the people of Irerinde area of Olorunda local government area of the state on Saturday, urged them to always observe precautionary measure put in place by the government.
According to him, some of the preventive measures against Coronavirus were regular washing of hands, avoid touching of the face, social distancing, maintaining personal hygiene, among others.
Adepoju said, “People of the state should adhere strictly to all government’s directives and precautionary measures such as regular hand washing with soap under running water, use of face masks and physical distancing to prevent the spread of the pandemic”.
Adepoju, presented the items which included thousands of face masks, food items among others to the entire residents of the area to compliments efforts of the government in the fight against the virus in the state.
He enjoined the residents of the area to be law abiding and be in support of the government of the day while promised not to relent in making available to them anything that can contribute to their welfare.
He used the medium to commends Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s led administration in the state for their efforts in sharing dividends of Democracy among the people of the state.
” The decision of the incumbent government towards the betterment of the entire residents of Osun cannot be over emphasised” Adepoju added.
