The Rochas Foundation on Tuesday distributed palliatives to the people of Imo West Senatorial District.
The initiative according to the NGO seeks to ease the hardship occasioned on Nigerians by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Senator representing Imo West, Senator Rochas Okorocha urged his constituents to follow the directives of the NCDC by maintaining personal hygiene and other safety precautions to avoid contracting the virus.
Okorocha wrote on his Twitter Handle, “My office through the @Rochas_fdn yesterday distributed palliatives to the people of Imo West.”
“As we strive to flatten the curve in the battle against the novel coronavirus by staying home and practising social distancing, it is of grave importance that we do the most to ease the hardship occasioned on Nigerians by the pandemic.”
“I urge you all to continue to follow all directives of the @NCDCgov.”
