Symphathisers in their numbers have been trooping to the palace of the Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, over the passing of the first class traditional monarch.
As earlier reported by Osun Defender, Oba Adeyemi died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti yesterday Friday April 22nd and his remains returned to the palace for the commencement of traditional rights.
At 83, Oba Adeyemi lll was the longest reigning Alaafin in history having ruled for 52 years.
