Cunha Agrees Five-Year Deal With Man Utd, To Take Rashford’s Shirt
Wolves forward, Matheus Cunha, has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with Manchester United.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano announced that the deal for Cunha to the Red Devil is near completion, hinting that the forward is also set to take Marcus Rashford’s shirt number at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian is set to become Ruben Amorim’s first arrival this summer after a disastrous 2024/2025 campaign where the team finished in 15th place.
The club will open negotiations with Wolves this week in order to trigger Cunha’s £62.5 million release clause which is to be paid in installments.
Rashford, who adorned the number 10 jersey before his loan move to Aston Villa, is expected to seal a permanent move away from the club.
