Davido Mocks His Cousin, Dele Adeleke For Getting 1 Vote At Osun PDP Governorship Primary

Music star Davido has mocked his cousin, Dele Adeleke, for getting the vote of just 1 delegate at the Osun PDP governorship primary held in Osogbo on Tuesday.

Recall that two parallel congresses of the PDP took place with one producing Senator Ademola Adeleke and the other producing Omoba Dotun Babayemi.

However, on the eve of the primary, four aspirants including Dele Adeleke withdrew from the race to support Dotun Babayemi.

Despite the withdrawal, the ballot papers used for the party primary where Ademola Adeleke emerged and supervised by the national body still carried the names of all the aspirants.

Dele Adeleke eventually scored 1 vote at the said primary.

While explaining the reason for his withdrawal to his supporters, Dele Adeleke took to Twitter and tweeted, “Here’s an important message to all supporters and well wishers of the Dele Adeleke Gubernatorial Campaign.

“Submission is the willingness to give up our right to ourselves, to freely surrender our insistence on having our own way all the time.”

In a swift comical reaction, Davido replied to his Cousin’s tweet through his veried Twitter handle @davido, he tweeted, “Ur talkin to the 1 person wey vote u abi .. I no understand which one be all supporters … cousin dele, frog jump loading.”
