The family of the deceased lecturer from the Applied Science department, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr. Olumide Oyetade, who died on Wednesday, July 24, after a brief illness, has announced Wednesday, July 31, 2024, as the date for his burial.
According to a source in Olumide’s family, his remains would be laid to rest in his hometown, Ode Omu, Osun State, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Also, OSPOLY’s Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Tope Abiola, confirmed during a chat with Osun Defender that the late Olumide would be buried in his hometown.
Abiola further commiserated with the family, stating that Mr. Olumide “would be greatly missed. We pray that God gives his family the fortitude to bear the loss and may his soul rest in eternal peace.”
