“The declaration is a relief for the teeming populace of the state and democracy is about majority, as the party with the majority votes forms the government, so, the state would have to move forward”.
This was the expectation of of an artisan based in Osun, Mr Shina Muideen.
He said: “At this point what one would expect from the incoming government is to continue with the good legacy of infrastructure.
“However, one would expect the new government to take into cognisance the undoings of the present government, especially in the area of workers’ welfare as well as the issue of alienation of party members across the state. Politically, one would also expect that the ruling party would find a means of resolving its internal crisis as a means of driving the state to greater heights in the next four years.
“Besides, the people are expecting a lot from the incoming administration, especially in the area of job creation and creating an enabling environment for the teeming populace to excel in their various businesses, hence, the need for the administration to balance the gap between infrastructure and social welfare.
“It is also pertinent for every stakeholder to understand that Osun belongs to us all and its survival must remain paramount”.
