Delta LG Polls: Electoral Officer Slumps, Dies
An electoral officer, simply identified as Ufuoma, has mysteriously slumped and died during the local council elections in Delta State.
Ufuoma, was said to have arrived the election venue at Unit 9, Ifeyinwa Primary School, Onicha Ugbo with other officials, when he suddenly slumped.
One of the voters, Dibie Justin said that the death came as a rude shock.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu delivered his ward in his community to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
APC’s victory in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-dominated community has sent shivers to the spines of the state government ahead of the 2019 general elections.
