I Desires To Be The Marked Man Against Enyimba – Ocheme
Nasarawa United central attacker Edoh Ocheme has said he will be a marked man against former champions, Enyimba.
The Solid Miners will be the hosts of the People’s Elephant in the upcoming top-flight matchday 25 clash in Lafia.
Ocheme said Enyimba are not in a hurry to forget his stunner way back in his days at Giwa FC with their safest hands, Chijioke ‘Arugo Monkey’ Ejiogu between the posts.
“I’m looking forward to scoring my very first goal for Nasarawa United against Enyimba on Sunday in Lafia.
“The last time I scored against Enyimba was in the colours of Giwa FC in Jos with their best hands, Chijioke Ejiogu (Arugo Monkey) in goal.
“Thereafter Enyimba have never taken their eyes off me each time we met on the field of play.
“I know I will still be the marked man on Sunday against Enyimba in matchday 25 clash in Lafia.
“I’m really going to work hard to make my impact counts positively and I will love to score the first goal against Enyimba.
“I have played two matches for Nasarawa United with a goal to show for it I almost achieved the feat at Rivers United but goalkeeper, Rotimi Sunday rose to the occasion to stop it.
“Although no pressure on me at the moment, everything is good I want to start scoring goals to truly help the side.
“And I want to make it happen against Enyimba, though the encounter is certain going to be tough given the visitors pedigree.
“We need to sit up work really hard to be able to earn the deserved and expected result against Enyimba,” said the former Enugu Rangers marksman to supersport.com.
The Lafia landlords are eighth on the 20-team top-flight on 34 points, 11 behind league leaders Plateau United.
