Tragedy struck at Pinnock Estate, Lagos State on Monday night as two dogs escaped from their cage and killed a security man in the estate.
According to a post on X, the owner of the dogs didn’t lock the dogs properly, leading to their escape and subsequent mauling of the yet to be identifed security man.
In the video, the dead body of the security man was seen on the ground with the dogs feasting on it.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin has disclosed that the owner of the dogs has been arrested.
Hundeying who was replying to questions from Nigerians on what be the fate of the dog owner, said, “Dog owner has been arrested and is in our custody.”

According to the constitution of Nigeria, any person who in a reckless or negligent manner as to endanger human life or to be likely to cause harm to any other person- omits to take precautions against any probable danger from any animal in his possession; is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment for two years.
