Easter: Fatai Kolawole Felicitates With Christians, Urges Sacrifice And Forgiveness
As Christians all over the world celebrate Easter, a period that signifies the travails and persecution of Jesus Christ, the permanent secretary, State of Osun Universal Basic Education, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has felicitated with Christians on the important occasion.
This was made known through a congratulatory press release sent to newsmen today in Osogbo, the State of Osun capital.
The Osun front line community leader described Jesus Christ, as an embodiment of peace, love and sacrifice who laid down his life for the restitution of man kind, even at a time of inconvenience, yet he paid the ultimate price for the redemption of humanity which eventually marks the victory of life over death.
Kolawole however urged Christians and Nigerians at large to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and forgiveness in all their endeavours as exemplified by Jesus Christ, this he concluded, would guarantee peace and tranquility in the land.
In his words” if we all imbibe what Jesus Christ represented in our daily life, the world will definitely be a better place because there would be love and peaceful coexistence among the people which is the precursor for the development and growth of any society”.
