Easter: Let’s Imbibe Spirit of Sacrifice, Salinsile Urges
The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun, Hon Rasaq Salinsile has called on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, selflessness and sacrifice as being exemplified by Jesus Christ during His earthly sojourn.
Salinsile, in his message to commemorate this year’s Easter, said these virtues are most imperative to our peaceful co-existence as a nation and as such we must seek to promote them for the greater good of all.
According to him, “It is only through selfless service and sacrifice to fatherland that Nigeria can attain the desired socio-political and economic progress.
“Nigeria will be great if we all tolerate one another and sacrifice to place our nation above self-interest and eschew divisiveness, ethnic and religious tendencies which has been the undo of our Nation.
While wishing all Nigerians particularly Osun people a happy Easter celebration, Asoremaweyin as he is fondly called by his admirers enjoined them to continue to support the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to deliver more democracy dividends as he has done in the past 7 years.
