Ede South LG Gets Council’s Secretary

The newly-appointed Secretary of Ede South Local Government, Hon Babatunji Olawale has been sworn in.

The swearing ceremony was performed on Monday 10th December, 2018 at the conference room of the local government.

Chairman of the council,  Hon Johnson Ajagbe Ojo presided over the ceremony.

In his speech, Hon Ojo was grateful to God Almighty for given him the privilege to direct the swearing in ceremony of the newly appointed secretary to the local government.

He charged him to effectively discharge the onerous responsibility placed on his office.

The chairman used the occasion to appeal to artisans, shop owners and market men and women to pay their dues to the local government so as to improve the internally generated revenue to complement the allocation from the federal and state Government account.

In his response, the newly sworn-in secretary Hon Babatunji Olawale thanked the chairman and everyone in attendance and promised to do his best with the help of God.

In attendance were the political functionaries, political leaders, career officers etc.

The Council-Manager, Barrister C.K Oyebade gave the welcome address.
