Edo Poll: PDP Announces Election Results Before INEC (Video)
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has gone ahead to announce the results of Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.
In a press conference on Sunday, at its central Collation Centre in Benin City, PDP governors held a press conference and announced the Edo governorship results.
Addressing the press, the Governor of Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri, flanked by other governors of the party, stated that the figures they announced were from “our collation agent that was ongoing before INEC disrupted the process.”

Governor Fintiri however, clarified that he didn’t announced the results but only informed the public about the exact figure from the PDP collation agents.
He said, “I’m quite aware of the Electoral Act provisions. I did not announce results, I only informed the public about the exact figure from our collation agent that was ongoing before INEC disrupted the process.”
