EFCC Can’t Fight Corruption Alone ~ Bawa

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa has stated that the commission alone cannot fight corruption.

Bawa stated this at the commission Headquarters in Abuja while hosting members of a civil society organization known as Civil Society Coalition for Transparency and Good Governance.

Baba said the only way to win the war against corruption is for all Nigerians to embrace the fight against corruption in any form and at every level.

Bawa said, “EFCC belongs to all Nigerians and it is not for anybody. We realized long ago that the work of the EFCC is not something that can be done alone. Civil Society Organizations and Individuals are all stakeholders, because Nigeria is the only country we have”.

Bawa used the meeting to alert Nigerians that the commission is not recruiting and also called on all right thinking human being to join hands to make Nigeria great.
