EFCC Declares Ekiti Man Wanted Over Alleged Forgery, Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared a 61-year-old man, Olusegun Ola Osinkolu, wanted over his alleged involvement in conspiracy, forgery and obtaining money by false pretence.

The anti-graft agency announced this in a statement issued on Thursday by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

According to the EFCC, Osinkolu, an indigene of Ekiti State, is wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into the alleged offences.

The Commission disclosed that his last known address is 3, Chucks Onyebuchi, Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The statement read: “The public is hereby notified that OLUSEGUN OLA OSINKOLU, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of Conspiracy, Forgery and Obtaining Money by False Pretence.

“Osinkolu, 61, is an indigene of Ekiti State, and his last known address is: 3, Chucks Onyebuchi, Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island, Lagos State.”

The EFCC appealed to members of the public to provide credible information that could assist in locating and arresting the suspect.

It urged anyone with useful information about Osinkolu’s whereabouts to contact any of its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja.

The Commission added, “Anybody with useful information as to his whereabouts should please contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices or through 08093322644; its e-mail address: info@efcc.gov.ng or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies.”
