EFCC Denies Freezing Adeleke’s Accounts

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has urged members of the public to disregard rumors that accounts belonging to the Adeleke family of Ede in Osun State and popular musician, David Adeleke DAVIDO has been freezed by the commission.

The false report said the EFCC purportedly freezed the accounts so as to hamper the release of funds with the forthcoming governorship election.

OSUN DEFENDER reached out to a top official of the agency who disclosed that the news is false and untrue.

According to the source, the commission is working on an official statement on the matter. However, neither the Adeleke family or Davido who is currently outside the country on a tour as confirmed the authenticity of the report.
