EFCC Seals Off Hotel In Abia In Connection To Fraud
A multi-billion naira hotel located along Dozie way junction at Ihie Ndume in Umuahia, Abia State, has been sealed by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
According to reports the hotel (Ice Grand Hotel-Suites) is under investigation for alleged financial fraud. The hotel is said to belong to a Dubai based Nigerian called Kelechi.
“This is under investigation”, EFCC wrote in an inscription on the fence of the hotel.
The commission is yet to issue any official statement with regards to the development.
