Eid-El-Fitr: Salinsile Preaches Peace, Adhere To Islamic Injunctions

As Muslims mark the end of the month long Ramadan fast, the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC in the state of Osun, Hon Rasaq Salinsile has urged Muslims to remain pious and always imbibe the lessons of Ramadan in their daily endeavour.

Salinsile in his Eid-el-Fitri message congratulated Muslims on the end of the annual spiritual journey of rejuvenation and rebirth admonished them to eschew bitterness and other vices.

The Osun APC scribe tasked them to remain committed to propagating the ideals of Islam as commanded by Allah and taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

“I wish to use this medium to congratulate Muslims on the successful completion of the Holy month of Ramadan.

“The month has taught us copious lessons on the spirit of giving, brotherliness, love and care for one another. It was also a veritable opportunity for the purification of our souls.”

“As Ramadan ends, we must remain dutiful and be of dignified obeisance to the will of Allah at all times. We must be guided by the Quran and the Hadith in all our dealings.”

He charged adherents of Islam to be prayerful during the festive season for the peace and progress of their homes, the state of Osun and Nigeria as a whole.
