A prominent member of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress APC in the State of Osun, Engr. Olalekan Badmus has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls, charging them to use the period of Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray against any crusade that might put the peace of the nation under threat.
This was contained in a statement by his Press secretary, Toba Adedeji which was made available to pressmen over the weekend.
The statement read, “I congratulate Nigerians on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
“Also, I want to cease this period to urge Nigerians especially the Muslim faithfuls to use this period to pray against any crusade under the guise of revolution.
The best thing we can do for our country is to support the government of the day by playing our own part holistically.“
He noted that, “change should begin with ourselves for better this government should deliver maximally.”
“The APC led government will always ensure security, provision of basic amenities, strengthen the economy and others,” Engr Badmus said.
