Eid-el-Kabir: Salinsile Greets Muslims, Preaches Peaceful Co-Existence In Osun

 

The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Hon Rasaq Salinsile has felicitated with Nigerian Muslims as they join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate this year’s Eld-el-Kabir.

Hon Salinsile, further in his felicitation expressed appreciation to the people of Osun for their massive support to the government of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and enjoined them to continue to eschew politics of bitterness and destruction as the state approaches the 2018 governorship election.

In a statement he personally signed, the APC Scribe said; “the festive is a period whereby all patriotic citizens must seek for peace, unity, stability and prosperity of our dear state.

Salinsile stated that; “Islam is indeed a religion of peace and the true essence of the religion is to unite the entire mankind in love and harmony”.

“As we celebrate, we must all continue to pray and work hard towards building a peaceful, united and prosperous Osun. Also, make sacrifices for the good of the Osun and join hands with the State Government in the efforts to make the state great.

“We must continue to show genuine love and respect for one another and reflect on the ideals of peace, unity, cohesion and mutual understanding as well as be humane to the less privileged members of the society.”

He prayed Almighty Allah to give Osun and Nigeria guaranteed peace, prosperity and violence free poll come September 22.
