Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the recently-conducted gubernatorial election in Osun, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti has congratulated Dr. Kayode Fayemi on his inauguration as the Executive Governor of Ekiti State.
This was contained in his congratulatory message made available to newsmen by his media aide, Kayode Agbaje in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to Alhaji Adeoti, Dr. Fayemi’s victory did not come to him as a big surprise, in view of the thirst by Ekiti residents and indigenes to experience progressive politics instead of the recent conservativism imposed on them.
Alhaji Adeoti however charged the new governor on the need to show good example of good governance through new ideas that are capable of taking the state to the next level of development that will make the state a reference point among its peers.
While congratulating the people of Ekiti State on the inauguration of their new governor, the ADP chieftain in Osun expressed optimism of a new glorious dawn for the state.
“With Dr Kayode Fayemi at the helms of affairs in Ekiti State, I can assure all the state residents and indigenes of a new and glorious dawn,” Alhaji Adeoti stated.
He further admonished the new governor to use his wealth of experience to improve on the current level of physical development, while advising him on the need to hit the ground running in view of the structural deficit that was the lot of the state in the last four years.
