Electricity Tariff: See Full List Of Areas Enjoying 20-24 Hours Power Supply In Osun
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) announced on Wednesday an increase in tariff for Band A electricity consumers, escalating the rate from N66 to N225 per kilowatt-hour (KW/h).
Osun Defender reports that Band A customers, who enjoy 20 to 24 hours of power supply daily, will face a substantial hike.
Investigation into the matter reveals that subscribers in Osun and some other states under the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Companyโs network, who fall into the Band A category, will be the primary ones affected by this new tariff plan, as detailed in NERCโs documents from February 2024.
