I Empower My Constituents With My Savings, Waseeu Adebayo Speaks

………Says PDP Is Dazed And Envious Of Aregbesola

The honourable member representing the Olorunda State constituency in the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon. Waseeu Adebayo has debunked the falsehood making waves on social media that his recently concluded empowerment project received a special benevolent fund of N10 Million from the Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

In a statement released through the media committee of the empowerment project, Hon Adebayo thanked the people of Olorunda State constituency for their all time support and the premium invested in him.

He reveals how he made some savings from his personal incomes in order to give back the little in his coffer to his constituents.

On the rumour of a special assistance from the state governor, Adebayo said those spreading such news are suffering some mental illnesses that are not known to medical society and should be ignored.

“How would Mr Governor single Waseeu Adebayo out in the midst of 26 members for such consideration?”

“I knew it was from the opposition camp and I need to say it loud and clear that I didn’t receive any special financial assistance from our governor to prosecute the scheme as being spread around to blackmail Mr Governor and my person.”

“Let me remind all rumourmongers that the 2017 edition of the empowerment scheme was the fifth in my 6 years as a member of the State House of Assembly. And the fact that their party representatives re heartless and refused to give back to their people doesn’t mean myself or the other APC members in the House of Assembly are receiving special fund from the government.” Adebayo elucidated.

“I know they’re bitter by the love and harmony between the APC honourables in the house and the executives led by Mr Governor. But I don’t know their hatred has dusted their reasonings to a standstill.”

“They’re envious of Ogbeni Aregbesola’s landmark achievement. That’s the spur behind their endless onslaught on Mr Governor.”

“They couldn’t propound a personality of equal rank with Aregbesola from their midst. Those they flaunt as leaders are of no match to the governor. So, I sympathise with them and those who still listen to their lies.”

He concluded by appealing to all APC members not to allow individual ambition and ego truncate the trend of development Osun is currently enjoying. As only the APC has what it takes to keep the flag flying after the tenure of Ogbeni Aregbesola in 2018.
