The protest kicked off on August 1 with the resistance of Nigerian youths against the high cost of living and the anti-human policies of the federal government. It has culminated in violence in the northern states of the country and is expected to end today, August 10.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, the protesters stormed streets in Abuja and were seen carrying different placards and chanting, “We are hungry.”
