Ahead of the nationwide hunger protest slated for Thursday, August 1 2024, there was heavy presence of security personnels across Osogbo, Osun state capital on Wednesday.
The security operatives, consisting of men from the Nigerian Army and operatives of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), were seen patroling Osogbo metropolis in the early hour of Wednesday.
Osun Defender observed that the security convoy moved from Oke-fia to Olaiya and Old- Garage in Osogbo, causing a slow movement in the flow of motorists.
