Thousands of protesters on Thursday, invaded the Daura residence of former President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State.
In a trending video on social media, the protesters were seen laying siege on Buhari’s house in the state
Osun Defender reports that that Nigerians, particularly the youths embarked on the hardship protest tagged #EndBadGovernance in Nigeria, over severe economic downturn, rising inflation, high unemployment, and lack of opportunities, leaving them struggling to make ends meet.
These reasons have culminated in widespread discontent and frustration, leading to the call for a nationwide protest to demand change and better living conditions.
They demand government action to address these issues and improve their lives.
The protest is expected to run for ten days.
