Security operatives on Monday dispersed protesters in the Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory, arresting three people in the process.
The protesters were just assembling when security agents went after them and arrested the three people.
Speaking with a journalist, one of the protesters, Yahaya Abdullahi, said the security agents fired teargas at them.
He said, “Our people were just coming out and the police and other security agents started tear-gassing us and arrested some of our people, we know of three for now.”
