Entrepreneurship Vital To Societal Progress – Aregbesola

•Attends Investiture Of Chiefs, Commisisons Princess Ruth Aina Ataiyero Skills Acquisition Centre, Ilesa (Photos)

The immediate past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Saturday, attended the investiture of Chiefs at Cathedral Church of St. John Iloro, Ilesa, Osun State, where Prince Samson Adebanjo Ataiyero was bestowed as the Baba-Ijo of the church.

The former two-term governor of Osun State after the programme, also attended the commissioning of Princess Ruth Aina Atayero Skills Acquisition Centre at Ilesa.

 

 

 

 

The centre was commissioned in honour of the late wife of Prince Ataiyero.

 

 

Speaking during the commissioning programme, Aregbesola said entrepreneuship is vital to the progress of the society.

He noted that the centre will provide people, especially the youth, with the skills they need to create opportunities, sustain livelihoods, and contribute to the growth of the society.

 

Aregbesola said the late mother while alive was commitment and passionate about human capital development, adding that the centre reflects her life’s work in empowering others.

He said, “Today, I am filled with pride as we commission the Ruth Aina Ataiyero Foundation Skills Acquisition & Vocational Training Centre in honour of Princess Ruth Aina Ataiyero. While she lived, her commitment and passion for human capital development were unmatchable, and this centre reflects her life’s work in empowering others. She believed in giving people the tools to build a better future, and through this foundation, that vision will live on.
