Ero-Arike Retracts Self On Gun-Bearing, Threat To Attack Opponents’
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Falilat Oyetunji, popularly known as Ero Arike, has retracted her earlier statement in which she claimed ownership of a gun and threatened to shoot members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a new Facebook post, Ero Arike denied possessing any firearm, explaining that her previous comments were made out of fear and not as a real threat
According to her, “I am here to speak on the speculations being peddled about on Facebook. Ordinary knockout banger I can’t fire. I only use my mouth to save myself. You all will remember when my mom was attacked at Olorunda community in Iragbiji. After that, they ordered to assassinate her.”

She further clarified that her earlier remark was only a slip of the tongue.
“I had to brag (slip of tongue) about having a gun because I was hearing gunshots in front of my shop. I did that to protect myself. I don’t own a gun,” she said.
Her clarification follows a viral video in which she was seen boasting of owning a gun and threatening to shoot anyone who confronted her. The video, which drew wide condemnation, also triggered public calls for her arrest and investigation by security agencies
