Ex-Corper Arrested For Allegedly Defiling Benefactor’s 13-Year-Old Daughter
A 29-year-old man, Tayo Adeleke has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling his neighbour’s 13-year-old daughter.
The suspect was said to have been caught while carrying out the act inside the room of the minor’s mother in the Monico area of Ogijo, Ogun State on October 9, 2023.
Osun Defender gathered that the suspect, who recently completed his national youth service was accommodated by the family of the minor.
The medium learnt that the victim’s mother identified simply as Mosunmola, returned late from work that day and noticed that the light in her apartment had been switched off.
She was said to have immediately put on the light when she entered her apartment, only to see the suspect defiling her child.
Speaking with newsmen, a family source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the family had been feeding the suspect only for him to pay the family back with evil.
“The family has been the most accommodating since his youth service programme. They fed him and were even thinking of getting him a job after his NYSC. He betrayed everyone.”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident on Thursday, adding that the case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta, once the preliminary investigation was completed.
“The suspect has been arrested after the incident was reported by the mother of the victim,” she said.
