Governor Ademola Adeleke of the State of Osun is set to form his cabinet with the appointment of commissioners.
Sources at the Governor’s Office informed OSUN DEFENDER that Adeleke has penciled down names of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to be appointed as commissioners.
According to the sources, the list of the potential commissioners would be forwarded to the State House of Assembly any moment from now.
Among the names being touted for the appointment are: Mr Abiodun Fafa Ojo (Ayedaade), George Alabi (Ejigbo), Maruf Ayofe (Ede North), Bashir Tokunbo Salam (Ede South), Sola Ogungbile (Egbedore), Oroniyi (Iwo), Gani Olaoluwa (Olorunda), Hashim Abioye (Ifelodun), Rasheed Aderibigbe (Odo-Otin), Kolapo Alimi (Irepodun), Ayo Awolowo (Ila), Bunmi Jenyo (Ila), Mayowa Adejoorin (Obokun) Bayo Ogungbangbe (Oriade), Wole Bada (Ife Central), Sesan Oyedele (Ife East) and Barr. Jola Akintola (Ilesa-East).
OSUN DEFENDER noted that Osogbo and Atakumosa local governments had no nominee on the list as of the time of filing this report.
Spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Mallam Olawale Rasheed confirmed to OSUN DEFENDER, that the list is ready for transmission to the lawmakers.
