The State Government of Osun has postponed its proposed ‘Economic Summit’.
The government is said to have rescheduled the summit to a later date to be announced soon.
The summit meant to reposition the state economy and showcase its huge potential to local and foreign investors was scheduled to hold next week between June 25 and 27 in Osogbo, the state capital.
A scoop from government quarters reveal that the notice of postponement is currently being sent out to the invited guests.
The reason behind the sudden postponement of the summit is said to be associated with paucity of funds.
