Explosion At Checkpoint Kills 7 Iraq

At least seven people have lost their lives in an explosion at a checkpoint in Western Iraq.

According to reports about four security personnel and three civilians where killed.

A terrorist drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the checkpoint in the western province of Anbar, the Iraqi News outlet reported.

Four troops were reportedly wounded in the attack.

The checkpoint in the town of Qa’im, next to the border with Syria, is controlled by the Iraqi armed forces and the Popular Mobilisation Forces, state-sponsored militias.
