Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has returned to training after he his injury in the recently concluded 2018 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Ezenwa who captained Nigeria to the tournament got injured against sudan in the semis and could not feature in the finals that saw the Super Eagles trashed.
The FC Ifeanyi Ubah first choice goalkeeper posted a message on his instagram page thanking God for healing him, and also thankful to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the support given to him during his trying time.
“Special thanks to God almighty for healing me, Ezenwa is back to the field of play with joy,” the Super Eagles goalkeeper stated.
“And also thanks to my beloved fans all over the world for their prayers and concern they showed to me during the recovery process. God bless you all and I love you all.
“ also thanks to the NFF for their care and support throughout my stay in Abuja. God bless them.”
Ezenwa’s return will serve as a big boost to the Super Eagles preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
